I don't normally dine at places like this but my cousin and his friend were visiting from Michigan and they wanted to eat here and I have to say we all had a great time. Reservation was easy to make, great outdoor seating on the roof, servers were very friendly, food tasted great and the ambience is amazing. We had a great time also interacting with the other guests and even took some pictures with them! Overall I had a great time and I really recommend the lobster mashed potatoes.

First off this place is super cute! Decorated very cute, low light, and on a rooftop but also tables inside and a bar. Perfect for a birthday or group tapas-like meal. The servers were also really nice :) It's pretty pricey and small for portions so personally I wouldn't come super hungry. If you drink, you HAVE to get the lychee martini. It's a sweeter drink but in a light creamy way. My friends and I ordered a lot and shared family style. MRC roll and Catch Roll, honestly it was okay, I've definitely had WAY better sushi for a better price too. I wouldn't order those rolls again. The crunchy rice cakes were okay, also not the best I've had and overpriced. The truffle sashimi was definitely worth the hype, probably my favorite things. Rainbow sashimi pizza was good too. The grilled Spanish octopus was amazing. Do NOT sleep on the Parmesan truffle fries, probably the best I've had lol. I'd definitely reorder these 3 things!

Catch LA is an upscale rooftop restaurant located in West Hollywood. They have valet parking, reservations required, a restroom available, and a dress code. The restaurant is decorated with fresh flowers and the night views are gorgeous. Most seating is outdoors and it can get chilly but they do have heaters. Service was standard at this kind of restaurant. Make sure to let them know your allergies. Food We started with the self care mocktail for $16. We loved the citrus taste and freshness of the drink. For an appetizer, we had the grilled Spanish octopus for $29 which was nicely seared and tender with a savory sweet flavor. I had the salmon a la plancha for $39 which was cooked well and went great with the cucumber emulsion. My friend had the truffle butter filet which she enjoyed. For dessert, we had the hit me chocolate cake for $24 which was interactive and had great chocolate flavor. Overall, the food and vibes were great but we would say a lot of the dishes are pretty overpriced (especially the $11 water) but it's a great place for a celebration or special night out. Overall | 4.3 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$$$

We had dinner at Catch before a concert down the street and we were not disappointed. The staff were all kind and welcoming, from arrival to departure. The ambiance of the restaurant, with the flower "tunnel" overlooking Melrose Ave as well as the chic dining room decor, is very cool. For dinner, we had a variety of shared platters. They had a yellowfin hamachi special with ponzu sauce which was absolutely delicious. The wagyu gyoza were melt in your mouth good. The crispy chicken bao buns, while good, felt a bit one dimensional compared to the other dishes. The MRC roll, with the ponzu brown butter, was so tasty. The drinks were also quite good, and unique. I would certainly recommend Catch for an upscale sushi dining experience in West Hollywood!

This is definitely an experience to have if you're in the area or visiting. As soon as you walk out of the elevator you're transported to a beautiful oasis overlooking Melrose blvd. Bar tenders are very attentive, as well as the servers, something about having every single staff person enjoying their job just makes the overall experience and presentation phenomenal. If it's your first time ask for their recommendations but our favorites were the Wagyu Surf & Turf Roll, catch roll, and the lobster Mac and cheese. The truffle fries, octopus and bao buns are also great sides to order. Expect small portions if you're not used to ordering sushi rolls, and expect to crave and order more after devouring them. Overall experience was amazing! Arrive early to look for parking, and walk to the restaurant, also make the reservation on OpenTable to avoid waiting outside. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped by early after a shopping trip to Melrose and Fairfax. Didn't have a reservation but waited in line for them to open and decided to catch bar seating. To our surprise, we were able to catch a table for two at 530 pm on a Saturday. IYKYK it's hard to do Drinks refreshing $$$ Food was tasty but in small portions. We ordered the wagyu edamame and a roll. We were in n out before the craziness, there's valet and several other parking locations. Don't recommend you parking on the St. This location is permit St parking only. At the time the ambiance was just right not too loud. Our server was informative and knowledgable.
